Go ROVing!
Join Discovery Hall to explore using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) as an engaging STEM education activity for your teaching environment. We’ll build and fly ROVs, experience the engineering design process as you design and make a ROV frame, investigate circuitry and diagram circuits for a simple ROV, explore quick student activities that address some of the science concepts behind ROV functionality and hear about research on the educational benefits of ROV programs for students.
We’ll also explore opportunities to involve your students with ROVs including our new Go ROVing kits that you can borrow for use in your teaching environment and our student-based ROV competitions.
