I have had a deep passion for the wildlife around me since I can remember and have devoted mostly all of my free time to spending outdoors exploring what the world has to offer. Throughout my own excursions, I spent my time appreciating my findings by doing research on whatever species I find to properly identify and gain any new knowledge whenever I can.

Although I have not currently finished my bachelor’s degree, I have completed 92 out of the 122 hours required at Auburn University and plan on taking the necessary steps online to complete my second college degree. Throughout my time in school, I have acquired much knowledge and skill in order to perform effectively and adequately for this position.

I have also obtained experience through much volunteer work through N.O.A.A. I was the youngest to ever be accepted into joining their two-week excursion out at sea doing long-line research for the sharks and red snapper in the Atlantic Ocean. I had the honor to do three summers in total equaling six weeks of marine life research teaching me proper vessel safety, fish identification/handling, and research data entry.

On top of that, at my time at Auburn I was able to become the president of The Marine Biology Club and utilized my time to connect with fellow biologists, interact and snorkel with wild species in protected zones, as well as handled, monitored, and cared for various aquatic species within tanks.
